About Me

I a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Use Disorder Professional with a strong commitment to providing trauma-informed client-centered care. My clinical approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are, creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing resilience, and growth. I have experience working with individuals impacted by trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and co-occurring disorders. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational interviewing to support client in achieving their therapeutic goals. EMDR is a central component of my work, allowing clients to process distressing experiences and reducing the impact of past trauma on present functioning. My background in both mental health and substance use treatment allows me to take a holistic approach addressing the complex interplay between trauma, emotional wellbeing, and behavioral health. I am dedicated to ongoing professional development and adhere to EMDRIA standards to ensure ethical competent and effective care.
