About Me

You’ve talked it through, journaled, analyzed, and tried to make sense of it, yet your body still feels anxious, frozen, or stuck in patterns you can’t explain. Sometimes pain lives in places words can’t reach.

Hi, I’m Michelle Perrier. I support people navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity, relationship patterns, and major life transitions. Using EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we’ll work with both your mind and nervous system to help you feel safer, more present, and more connected to yourself.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded. You can expect a space where you don’t have to perform, minimize your experiences, or have everything figured out. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, culture, and relationships may be shaping what you feel today, while building practical tools for managing stress, understanding your emotions, and moving beyond constant fight, flight, or freeze.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with trauma, identity, and loss. After a career in advertising, and nearly losing my father, I realized I wanted a life rooted in deeper meaning, healing, and human connection.

As a multiracial Korean, white, and Native American millennial cisgender woman, I bring a multicultural and relational lens to therapy. I understand that healing does not happen outside the context of identity, family, culture, and community. To me, healing is not only personal, it is relational, communal, and embodied.

I believe you have an innate capacity to heal. My role is to help you reconnect with that capacity so you can feel less overwhelmed, more confident, and fully alive in your own life.
