Online Therapy

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, grief, life transitions, relational stress, and emotional regulation concerns. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change.

I use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, CBT, ACT, somatic-based interventions, and parts-informed work. I believe therapy should be supportive, honest, and useful — a space where clients can feel understood while also gaining tools they can use outside of session.

Education & Experience

My clinical training includes experience in both private practice and inpatient rehabilitation settings. During my internship at an inpatient rehab center, I worked with clients experiencing substance use concerns, trauma histories, emotional distress, and co-occurring mental health symptoms. My practicum experience in private practice helped strengthen my understanding of clinical documentation, legal and ethical standards, professional boundaries, and outpatient counseling practices.

I have experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and older adults with concerns related to trauma, anxiety, grief, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, family conflict, parenting stress, substance use recovery, and adjustment-related challenges. I have also provided psychoeducational seminars to older adults in retirement community settings, supporting mental health awareness, coping skills, and emotional wellness.

I also bring a strong understanding of military family life and the unique stressors faced by service members, spouses, children, and transitioning families.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I am committed to continued professional growth through ongoing training, consultation, and collaboration. My professional interests include trauma recovery, EMDR therapy, adolescent mental health, ADHD and executive functioning, family systems, substance use recovery, older adult wellness, and support for military-connected individuals and families.

I value collaboration with other professionals, schools, medical providers, and families when appropriate to support continuity of care and client progress.
