About Me
Hi, I'm currently accepting new clients and referrals for teens and adults (ages 13+) who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, life transitions, and the lingering effects of difficult life experiences.
Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside. They may overthink conversations, replay situations long after they've ended, question why they react the way they do, or find themselves stuck in familiar patterns they can't seem to change. Others carry the weight of childhood experiences that continue to influence their relationships, self-esteem, and sense of safety long into adulthood.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore what's beneath the surface and make sense of how past experiences may be showing up in your present life. Together, we'll work to identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing rather than simply surviving.
I use a person-centered approach and tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely seen, respected, and empowered to move at a pace that feels right for them.
I am EMDR Basic Trained and currently working toward EMDR Certification. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain process and heal from distressing experiences that may continue to impact thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and behaviors. EMDR can be helpful not only for trauma but also for anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and negative beliefs about oneself.
In addition to EMDR, I integrate person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, and other trauma-informed interventions to support clients in building resilience, increasing self-understanding, and creating lasting change.
As someone with lived experience navigating life's challenges and transitions, I understand how difficult it can be to reach out for support. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you're processing past experiences, managing current stressors, or trying to reconnect with who you are beneath the overwhelm, therapy can be a place to heal, grow, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
You don't have to do it alone. Healing is possible, and I'd be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
