About Me

If you have seen other therapists before and something always felt like it was missing, you are not alone, and you are in the right place.

I am a licensed psychologist specialising in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating complex trauma, persistent and chronic emotional dysregulation, lack of felt safety in relationships and attachment trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD and ASD, and substance use disorders.

Many of my clients come to me having already tried therapy, and what they often tell me is that something about our work together feels different. People who have spent years carefully managing what they share with a therapist find themselves talking freely within the first session. Creating genuine safety is not a technique I apply. It is the foundation everything else is built on.

I work from a place of radical authenticity. I will not sit behind a blank screen or offer you rehearsed reflections. I show up as a real person, and I invite you to do the same. Therapy with me is a collaboration: you are the expert on your own life, your own history, and where you want to go. My role is to be a thoughtful, attuned guide as we piece that puzzle together, one part at a time. I pay close attention to your nervous system, including the quieter signs of dissociation that are easy to miss, and I know how to gently bring you back when things feel like too much so that our work stays grounded and safe.

I draw on EMDR, DBT, ACT, and CBT, and I adapt these creatively to fit you rather than asking you to fit them. I also take the decolonisation of therapy seriously, ensuring that what we do in the room reflects your lived reality, your values, and your cultural context rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
The entirety of my clinical career has been spent working with young people, both as a clinician and as an educator. That experience gives me a grounded, real-world understanding of what adolescents and young adults are actually navigating today, not a textbook version of it.

Whatever brought you here, my hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel genuinely met. Not managed. Not analysed. Met. And that from that place, we build something that actually looks like the life you want.
