Pam Crepps, LCSW

Preferred Name: Pam

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, and difficult life experiences. My work is grounded in a compassionate, collaborative approach that helps clients understand how past experiences can continue to shape present-day emotions, relationships, beliefs, and patterns of responding. I incorporate EMDR therapy to help clients process distressing experiences, reduce their emotional intensity, and develop more adaptive ways of understanding themselves and their experiences. I particularly enjoy working with thoughtful, self-aware adults who may understand their patterns intellectually but still feel stuck in them.

Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health. I am licensed to practice in North Carolina, Virginia, and Michigan and have extensive experience working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, and life transitions. I have completed EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training and am currently pursuing EMDRIA certification. My additional clinical training and experience include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). I continue to pursue advanced training and consultation in EMDR and trauma-focused treatment.
