About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who provides virtual therapy for adults. I believe that healing happens in a space where you feel safe, understood, and accepted.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences.
I am passionate about helping clients process experiences that may continue to affect how they see themselves, others, and the world. I integrate EMDR with a person-centered, strengths-based approach and may also incorporate elements of CBT, compassion-focused therapy, and other approaches based on each client's needs.
I understand that beginning therapy—or revisiting painful experiences—can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive environment where we move at a pace that feels manageable and where you remain an active participant in your healing process.
For clients who desire it, I also offer the option to incorporate Christian faith and spirituality into the counseling process.
Education & Experience
I received my Master's of Arts Degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 1989.
