About Me
I believe therapy should feel human, collaborative, and genuinely connected. I specialize in trauma and complex trauma, helping clients understand how past experiences can shape present-day patterns, relationships, self-worth, and automatic responses. My approach is warm, curious, and goal-focused, with an emphasis on helping clients build insight while creating meaningful change.
EMDR is a central part of my work, and I approach it in an intuitive and exploratory way rather than treating it as a rigid, one-size-fits-all process. I often integrate parts work, somatic awareness, DBT skills, metaphors, and other trauma-informed approaches based on what feels most supportive for each client.
I also have a particular interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum experiences, infertility, birth trauma, parenting, relationships, attachment patterns, anxiety, and self-esteem. I work with clients ages 18 and older and offer both traditional EMDR therapy and EMDR intensives.
Education & Experience
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in 2024 and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio.
My clinical experience includes outpatient therapy as well as previous work in an inpatient psychiatric setting, where I worked with individuals across a wide range of ages, diagnoses, clinical presentations, and levels of acuity and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
My current work focuses primarily on trauma and complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, attachment and relationship patterns, self-esteem, and women’s mental health. I am EMDR trained and have completed additional training in EMDR intensives. I also integrate DBT, parts-oriented approaches, somatic work, solution-focused interventions, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) into my clinical work when appropriate.
