About Me
I work in Private Practice providing Psychodynamic and EMFDR therapy. I am also Clinical Lead running a schools based psychotherapy service for a charity in Bristol.
Before training as a therapist, I spent years working in education, social care and health — experiences that shaped how I think about people and what they need. I'm drawn to sitting with someone in their difficulty, thinking it through together, and finding a way forward that feels right for them.
I work with children, adolescents and adults, bringing a psychodynamic approach alongside EMDR for those carrying the weight of trauma.
Education & Experience
I have a master degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents, which I gained 15 years ago. Since then, I have worked as a psychotherapist in children's social care and adoption for the Local Authority in Hackney, as a Schools Outreach `Therapist for the Anna Freud Centre in London and for the last 12 years for the Bridge Foundation, Bridge in Schools service, where I am Clinical Lead. Alongside this work, I have a private practice where I see children, adolescents, families and adults for psychotherapy and EMDR therapy and provide supervision to therapists working with children and young people..
Through my years of clinical practice, I have worked with many complex presentations and have developed specialist practice across a number of areas. I develop training within my organisation.
