About Me

In a world of AI, filters, and influencers, my goal is to be human. I prioritize genuine connection and real conversations in my therapeutic practice. Therapy with me means you're going to experience real, empathetic support with real, honest feedback. The journey of life is difficult, but I'm here to help you walk that path. Together we'll navigate the challenges along your journey to becoming the best version of you. Whether you're experiencing issues adjusting to life's transitions- like heading to college or retiring -, want to better manage your mood, or just be the best version of yourself, let's connect.

Whether you're processing trauma, or learning to navigate life's tricky transitions (like retirement!), or wanting to better manage depression or anxiety, I'm here to help. I am trained in a variety of modalities, including TF-CBT, DBT, and EMDR. As a Certified Ecotherapist, I strive to incorporate green therapy & I also provide Therapeutic-Fishing EMDR.

I honor and respect how difficult it can be to share intimate details of your life with a relative stranger in therapy. In light of that, I strive to provide an environment that is caring and supportive. Please reach out to schedule a discovery call to see if we're the right fit.

Education & Experience

I have a Master of Arts in Education with a Specialization in Counseling from Western Carolina University and a Master's of Science in Social Work from the Univeristy of Texas at Austin. I have several post-graduate specializations and trainings in multiple modalities. I've been practicing since 2004 in a variety of settings, mostly safety net and community mental health, and recently launched my own practice early in 2026.
