About Me
Before launching my practice in 2024, I worked for the non-profit Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TICTI) for over 10 years providing intensive trauma therapy, research, training, and consultation. I received excellent training, supervision, and mentorship opportunities that inform my current work. I am certified in EMDR and am an EMDR consultant. I am also a registered yoga teacher and a certified intensive trauma therapy provider and integrative mental health professional. I get developmental and complex trauma from my own personal experiences and healing of developmental trauma wounds, and also as a professional. I want to help you heal because I know firsthand how powerfully it can change the trajectory of your life. I enjoy working with vets, military families, gold star families, and any mature teen or adult of any age who is growth oriented. I am licensed to practice in NC, CA, and MA.
Education & Experience
I began my career in the mental health field in 2009, after leaving active duty military service. I received my PhD in 2025 in Psychology with a concentration in humanistic, transpersonal, and existential psychology. I received my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from New England College in 2012. I have extensive training in complex and attachment trauma as well as a graduate level clinical psychology certificate in treatment of complex trauma.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am affiliated with ISSTD, EMDRIA, and IONS. I enjoy volunteering in my community.
