Education & Experience

Susan has a Master of Education in Counselling with experience in the field since 2004. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is a certified EMDR therapist and an EMDRIA Credit Provider. Her counselling experiences include treating depression and anxiety, trauma and recovery, grief counselling, stress reduction, life transitions and has worked with adults, children, and youth. She currently works with adults. She got her start in the trauma field working with survivors of historic sexual abuse and recent assault. She currently works with first responders including police, veterans, health care professionals as well as victims of crime, childhood trauma and creative types.
