About Me

Patrick Jensen, MA, LMFT, is an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist in private practice in Burbank, California. He works with adults who are struggling with the lasting effects of trauma, including anxiety, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, and patterns that can feel difficult to change even with insight and self-awareness.
Patrick offers a warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented approach to therapy. He integrates EMDR with Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic psychotherapy, and attachment theory to help clients not only find relief from distress, but develop a deeper understanding of themselves and greater freedom from the experiences that continue to shape their lives.
Patrick is an IFS Level 1 trained therapist and also specializes in couples and sex therapy. He serves as Co-Director and Clinical Supervisor of AACAST and teaches psychotherapy to psychiatry residents at UCLA and USC.
