Preferred Name: Stephanie
About Me
I am licensed in Michigan (LMSW), Illinois (LCSW), and South Carolina (LMSW). I currently only work with adults, many of whom have struggled with different mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, adjustment disorders, and mood disorders. With my clients, I strive to foster a safe, non-judgmental place for healing that solely focuses on your goals and needs. I use a client-centered and strengths-based perspective to help facilitate the process of self-discovery and growth. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and a Level 1 IFS Trained Therapist through the IFS Institute. I offer adjunct EMDR therapy, IFS-informed EMDR therapy, EMDR Intensives, and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR Therapy(TM) to support you in your current therapy journey.
Education & Experience
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Michigan in 2014 and received my Master of Social Work from Wayne State University in 2016. I completed my EMDR basic training in December 2021 and became an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist in November 2022. I am currently an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT).
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I also have experience guiding all-level yoga classes and yin yoga classes as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). I have extensive trauma training experience, including being a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner (CCTP). I am also a volunteer clinician with the Michigan Tri-County Trauma Recover Network.
