About Me
If you hope to make changes or overcome obstacles in your life, I would be pleased to meet with you. I am a Licensed Psychologist with a doctoral degree and over 20 years of experience supporting my clients to meet their goals. I offer psychotherapy for adolescents (12 and up), adults and families. While trained as a generalist, much of my early training came from family systems and behavioral perspectives, which helps me look at your concerns within a larger system and to consider how relationships impact your progress. My knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy, neurobiology and attachment dynamics allows me to understand and explain internal factors that can be addressed to effect change. My approach to therapy is strength-based, inclusive and client-centered, using a wide range of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, skills training, interpersonal and family interventions. Within the framework of a safe, nonjudgmental, and private therapeutic relationship, I work collaboratively with you to help you develop a unique treatment plan, using effective strategies to help you to make progress, heal, achieve growth, and find fulfillment. I serve as a Co-Director at Associates in Family Psychology, where my colleagues and I are dedicated to provide exceptional care and treatment for a wide range of concerns.
