About Me

Hello, I’m Terry, My counseling journey began when I reached a turning point in 2001. Coming to terms with a past impacted by multiple addictions and trauma wasn’t easy, but with God’s guidance, new doors opened in ways I hadn’t expected. With 26 years of military service, I’ve seen firsthand how essential recovery is, and I carried this mission into the private sector. Through my own healing, I’ve gained a deep compassion for those struggling with addiction and an understanding of the complex intersections of culture, faith, and sexuality. Today, it’s an honor to help others address past wounds, take purposeful healing steps, and move from isolation into a connected, joyful life. I co-authored Walk by Faith, Not by Sexuality: A Compassionate Guide to Sexual Identity, Religious Integrity, and Inner Peace, which I co-authored to offer guidance, hope, and faith-centered support for Christian men navigating feelings of same-sex attraction.
