About Me
Maybe you're so anxious so often that you don't know what calm or relaxed even feels like. Maybe you always feel kind of low, even depressed, but you still do all the things each day, with an inner voice that's pretty mean. Maybe you've lost someone, or something, and you can't move past it no matter what people tell you. Maybe something happened, an assault or an accident, and your body still reacts like it's happening now. Or maybe you've just entered parenthood and your world has been rocked when you expected something much different.
Many of the people I support come from hard beginnings. Childhoods most would call difficult, although to you it might just seem normal. Others are dealing with one thing that happened and changed everything. I help people work through what experiences like these leave behind.
EMDR doesn't require retelling everything in detail. It changes how your brain holds an experience, so the past stops showing up uninvited in your present.
The ways you learned to cope with things have carried you this far. They're just costing more than they used to. Let's connect and take the next step in feeling better together.
