About Me
Our life stories do not always have the fairy tale endings that we hoped for, but we are not mere puppets. We are active agents in pursuit of meaningful moments and positive outcomes. My approach as a counselor is to help you identify your strengths and collaborate with you to help you find solutions to challenges in your story. I strive to provide a counseling relationship in which you can feel safe, heard, and supported as you explore or process whatever you choose. I offer an integrative approach to therapy with a focus on strengths in individuals and relationships as a foundation of growth. The theoretical foundations that inform my counseling include EMDR Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR (Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR). I have a great passion for empowering those suffering from chronic mental health disorders such as Bipolar Disorder. I also hold experience with depression, anxiety, life transitions, PTSD, abuse, and trauma.

I completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University. I have specialized training in Trauma. I am additionally trained and Certified in EMDR.
