About Me

Hi, I’m Lindsay Wright. I believe that you have an innate capacity to heal, to thrive and create the life and relationships that you desire. While I provide behavioral health expertise, I respect that you are the expert on your own lived experience; together, we can work collaboratively to create growth and change within yourself and your relationships. I aim to create a warm, confidential, and supportive environment to allow you to share vulnerable emotions & experiences, while also feeling secure. I believe that therapy is both an art and a science, and I approach sessions with warmth, curiosity, humility, authenticity, empathy and humor. Education & Experience

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and received a Masters of Arts in Marriage, Couples & Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College in 2013. I began my career working with children, teens and their families at The Children’s Center in Vancouver, WA, and quickly discovered my passion for working with those who had experienced trauma. During this time, I pursued additional training in trauma-specific treatment modalities, and began my training in EMDR Therapy in 2015, and later became EMDRIA certified. In 2017, I began working within Integrated Primary Care, which assisted me in gaining greater understanding of the impact of physical health concerns on emotional & behavioral health. In 2022, a colleague and I identified that there was a lack of grief support within our local community, and created a grief-focused support group, and in 2024 we launched an annual grief retreat. I firmly believe that as a therapist and as a human, I will never stop growing, and that there is always more to learn. Over the course of my career, I have chosen to deepen my therapeutic abilities by completing many additional therapy trainings.
