About Me

Healing often begins with being genuinely seen—not judged, rushed, analyzed, or reduced to a diagnosis. I strive to create a warm, grounded, and accepting space where you can speak openly and feel understood.

I listen not only to your words, but also to the emotions, protective patterns, and unmet needs beneath them. Many painful reactions began as understandable attempts to survive, belong, or remain emotionally safe. Rather than criticizing these responses, we can approach them with curiosity and compassion while developing healthier ways of protecting and caring for yourself.

Your dignity, cultural background, personal values, and individual pace will be respected throughout our work. Together, we can uncover strengths that may have become hidden beneath fear, shame, trauma, or self-doubt.

The past may have shaped you, but it does not have to determine your future. It is my privilege to support you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom, reclaim your voice, and create a life guided by greater freedom, self-respect, connection, and hope.

Education & Experience

I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with nearly 26 years of experience helping people of diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds overcome emotional challenges and create meaningful, lasting change. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and Certified Trauma Therapist, with additional certifications in anxiety and depression treatment, CBT, DBT, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness.

My extensive experience allows me to integrate evidence-based approaches with warmth, insight, and compassion. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique history, strengths, needs, and goals, providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can heal from painful experiences, build healthier coping skills, strengthen their relationships, and reconnect with their confidence and inner resilience.
