About Me
My goal is to support my clients' progression towards a more manageable level of functioning, while empowering them to rebuild their self-confidence and navigate the stressors of daily life. I grew up as missionary kid, and have a multicultural perspective. I specialize in EMDR, and enjoy supporting people through their healing journey. I approach my work from a person-centered perspective, offering a calm, empathetic, and understanding presence to create a supportive environment for you to pursue your therapeutic goals.
Education & Experience
I attended Rift Valley Academy (RVA) in Kenya for high-school, went to college at Goshen College in Goshen IN (2012), and I earned my graduate degree (M.Ed) from Whitworth University in Spokane WA (2022). I have experience working with children, adolescents, as well as individuals from all walks of life. I attained my EMDR Basic training in February of 2023. My main modality of treatment is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is effective for trauma and stress related disorders. Through the process, we examine, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors, while resolving past traumatic events.
