Corin Garvey, LMHC
(they/them)
About Me
Corin is fully trained in EMDR and is working toward certification. They have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling specializing in trauma from Antioch University, New England. They have several years of experience working with those who are neurodivergent as well as those who have experienced interpersonal crimes, including sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse, as well as childhood abuse and neglect. As a member of the transgender community, Corin is passionate about helping those in marginalized communities find strength and healing. They provide a collaborative, holistic, person-centered approach in the therapy room by incorporating the hobbies, skills, and passions of their clients into the process. Corin works primarily with older teens (16+) and adults and specializes in the transgender and non-binary community and with those who are neurodivergent such as autism or ADHD. Outside the therapy office, Corin spends their time gardening, writing, playing with their cat and dogs, hiking, playing board games, and overall being nerdy.
