About Me

I’m Shauntae Walker, LPCC-S, a holistic, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to creating a healing space where your full self is welcomed, affirmed, and supported. At Holistic Counseling Practice, I blend compassionate care, cultural humility, and mind-body approaches to help clients restore balance, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strength. I am open to working with everyone and believe that all people deserve access to safe, affirming, and empowering mental health care. At the same time, my deepest passions lie in supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, where I strive to offer a space that honors identity, lived experience, and the complexity of each person’s journey. My style is warm, authentic, and human. I bring humor, curiosity, and gentleness into sessions to help healing feel safe and accessible—not heavy or intimidating. Whether we’re navigating trauma, identity exploration, stress, or life transitions, my goal is to walk alongside you with empathy and unwavering support as you step into your most whole and empowered self.

Education & Experience

Professionally, I bring years of experience as both a clinician and a clinical supervisor. I’ve supported adolescents, young adults, and adults through complex trauma, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and school or family-related stress. In addition to my direct client work, I supervise a team of counselors and case managers, train emerging clinicians, and design community-based programs focused on youth empowerment, emotional wellness, and accessible care. These experiences have shaped my holistic, collaborative approach and strengthened my commitment to meeting each client with respect, curiosity, and cultural humility.
