About Me

Greetings! I am pleased to make your acquaintance. I I have over 25 years in behavioral health, mental health and addiction services combined. I am experienced working with individuals, couples and families, including resolving big or small trauma utilizing EMDR since 2005. I have worked in private practice & community behavioral settings in NYC and Florida. I am a resident of Florida for 11 years with my daughter, and dog, Winston! Education & Experience

A little more about me... I have offered virtual visits since 2019. I am the Chief Clinical Officer for Share the Care Inc. (www.helpforcaregivers.org) leading a team of clinicians who serve caregivers. I was a caregiver to my late spouse, and have firsthand experience of caregiving. I am a qualified supervisor of Masters Level Registered Social Work Interns. I have been in private practice since 2000, working in a variety of settings treating addiction, trauma, identity issues, behavioral issues, and providing guidance through the hard times life presents.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I serve on the Board of Directors for Community Health Centers of Central Florida. I am a member of the NACHC (national association of community health centers) QI advisory board. I was a FEMA first responder and team leader for the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting. I additionally was a FEMA first responder and team leader for Hurricane Maria evacuees from Puerto Rico.
