Heather McCool, LISWS
Preferred Name: Heather
About Me
Heather has been working in the mental health and addictions field for over 12 years. Heather has experience working with adults and adolescents who have a desire to manage and overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance use and coping with the many ordinary - and sometimes extraordinary - stressors life can throw at them.
Heather uses a combination of therapy techniques to help identify areas of growth and change in her clients’ lives. Heather is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to relieve distressful symptoms of trauma and believes in the healing power of therapy. She strives to provide a safe and comforting place for self-exploration.
Heather loves coming alongside individuals to help them grow, excel and find healing while on their life journey.
