About Me
Jessica Witmer, LMHC, is an EMDR Certified Therapist and the owner of Mindbody Counseling & Wellness Center in downtown Angola, Indiana. Her work focuses on trauma, stress, anxiety, nervous system regulation, and the connection between the mind and body.
Jessica offers EMDR therapy for adults who are looking for more than insight alone and want a deeper, body-aware approach to healing. Her clinical work may also include somatic awareness, parts work, hypnosis, sandtray therapy, and extended processing sessions when appropriate.
In addition to traditional therapy sessions, Jessica offers 1–3 day EMDR therapy intensives for clients seeking focused trauma work in a more concentrated format. Intensives are offered in person in Angola, Indiana and may be a good fit for clients traveling from Fort Wayne, South Bend, Toledo, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago, or other parts of the Midwest.
Her approach is thoughtful, trauma-informed, creative, and grounded in helping clients process what has felt stuck, unfinished, or difficult to move through in weekly therapy alone.
