Preferred Name: Phoenix
About Me
I work with women, couples and high functioning professionals who are capable, responsible, and deeply committed to others, yet often feel depleted, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward in their own lives.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who find themselves struggling with internal conflicts, difficult emotions, or patterns that no longer serve them.
Education & Experience
My clinical work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and a deep appreciation for the role of culture, relationships, and early life experiences in shaping who we become. Having lived and worked across multiple cultural contexts—from southwest China to Japan to the United States—I bring a broad, relational lens to understanding human experience and healing.
Today, I specialize in working with complex trauma, including PTSD and dissociative presentations, and with women through pregnancy- and postpartum-related mood challenges, birth trauma, and the identity shifts that often accompany becoming a parent. I offer a steady, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can slow down, understand long-standing patterns, and develop the capacity to live with greater agency, clarity, and emotional freedom.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I serve as the Award Co-Chairs at APA Div 5 Section V.
