About Me
Kelly Jenssen, LCPC, is an EMDRIA-Approved Therapist based in Towson, Maryland. She completed her EMDR training in 2023 with The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy, and has since completed several advanced-level trainings to further her understanding of EMDR and healing attachment wounds.
Kelly works with adolescents and adults, and specializes in complex trauma, PTSD, and attachment wounds stemming from developmental trauma. She has a strong passion for working with First Responders and Veterans. Grounded in a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit, Kelly utilizes EMDR therapy as her approach to helping clients move towards wellness.
Kelly believes healing is about more than managing symptoms—it is about reconnecting with yourself, building self-trust, and creating a life that feels authentic and aligned. The ways we think, feel, and respond are often shaped by experiences that taught our nervous systems how to protect us. Together, you can explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, creating the conditions for deeper, embodied healing and transformation. Kelly's work is rooted in EMDR therapy and guided by a holistic understanding of the mind, body, and nervous system, while integrating parts work, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and ACT to support lasting change.
A lifelong learner, she offers that same opportunity with the Therapist Education Institute for growth to fellow EMDR clinicians through individual and group consultation for those looking to deepen their understanding of the AIP model, engage more fully in a relational approach to healing, and continue their own personal and professional growth.
