About Me

Hi, I’m Natalie Foster, a therapist in Scottsdale, Arizona. I believe that our stories shape us, but they don’t have to define us. The experiences we’ve lived through, the relationships we’ve had, and the messages we’ve learned about ourselves can influence how we see ourselves and move through the world. With the right support, those patterns can change.

I’m passionate about helping people understand themselves more deeply, work through what has shaped them, and reconnect with their own strength. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone different. It’s about getting to know yourself beneath the coping, expectations, and protective patterns, so you can move through life with greater confidence, connection, and authenticity. My role is to help you understand these patterns, reconnect with your strengths, and create greater freedom in how you respond to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship and attachment concerns, grief and loss, boundaries, communication, betrayal, self-esteem, and the unique pressures that can come with being a high achiever. I also work with loved ones who have been impacted by addiction and adults who are ready to better understand how their past experiences may be affecting their present relationships and sense of self.

Education & Experience

I am trained in Post Induction Therapy (PIT) which focuses on releasing carried emotions, inner child healing, and becoming a more functional adult. I also utilize therapeutic techniques such Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based Approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBR, GTEP, and last but certainly not least, I am EMDR certified and utilize this effective modality in resolving a variety of concerns. Together we will find what works best for you and your unique needs.
For clients who want to focus more deeply on trauma processing, I also offer EMDR Intensives, a focused therapy option that provides extended time for EMDR work outside of the traditional weekly therapy format.
