About Me
I have been a licensed professional counselor for more than 25 years, working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of painful or traumatic experiences.
I earned my Master’s degree in Community Counseling in 1996 and became licensed in 1999. My early experience included inpatient psychiatric assessment and pastoral counseling, and I have been in private practice since 2010.
Today, my work focuses primarily on trauma-informed therapy for adults. I am trained in EMDR and incorporate IFS-informed parts work, along with more than two decades of experience using cognitive and relational approaches. I help clients understand the patterns and protective strategies they have developed in response to difficult experiences, while working toward greater freedom, emotional health, and connection.
For clients who desire it, I also integrate Christian faith into the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide therapy that addresses not only symptoms, but the deeper experiences, beliefs, and patterns that often keep people feeling stuck.
