About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults. My work is relational, thoughtful, and trauma-informed, with particular attention to how emotional and relational patterns develop over time and how understanding supports meaningful change. I work collaboratively and at a pace that respects each client’s capacity. I integrate EMDR within a broader therapeutic relationship, attending carefully to readiness, resourcing, and integration. I currently offer EMDR and individual therapy through a fully virtual practice serving adults across Tennessee.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Tennessee and am licensed as an LCSW in the state of Tennessee. My clinical training emphasized relational, psychodynamic, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed approaches. I have over two decades of clinical experience working with adults in outpatient and higher-acuity treatment settings, addressing anxiety, trauma, grief, and relational concerns. I am EMDRIA Certified as an EMDR Therapist and integrate EMDR into a paced, relational treatment process. My use of EMDR prioritizes stability, client capacity, and thoughtful integration rather than rapid symptom reduction.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a board member of the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute, where I am involved in supporting professional education, community, and connection among clinicians. I am a member of EMDRIA and remain engaged in ongoing consultation and continuing education related to EMDR, trauma treatment, and relational psychotherapy.
