Lana Lorenzo, LCSW
About Me
I support adults living with CPTSD, depression, and anxiety, with a particular focus on ambiguous loss. My work centers on the impact of emotionally unavailable or neglectful parenting, parent–adult child estrangement, and the complex dynamics that arise when clients navigate personal agency alongside cultural and family expectations. Within first- and second-generation family systems, these tensions often shape identity, boundaries, and attachment patterns. I incorporate EMDR therapy to help clients process relational trauma and move toward integrated healing. I currently accept Aetna, UHC/Oscar/Optum and BCBS in NY. Aetna/UHC/Oscar/Optum in NJ and Florida
