About Me
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), specializing in trauma treatment through a decolonizing, client-centered lens. My clinical approach integrates EMDR therapy with somatic, experiential, and depth psychological modalities to support adult clients, particularly African American women, in processing complex trauma, including childhood sexual abuse and systemic oppression. I support clients in understanding how intergenerational trauma and structural inequities impact identity, relational dynamics, and emotional regulation. My work is grounded in the belief that healing is not solely cognitive, but also embodied, cultural, and ancestral. I provide a structured, trauma-informed therapeutic space where clients can safely engage in deep nervous system repair, narrative integration, and identity reclamation.
