Debra Santos, LPC
About Me
As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to assist children, adolescents, and adults seeking relief and guidance with depression, anxiety, domestic violence, life transitions, conflict resolution, LGBTQ+ challenges, and more. During your session, you are empowered to explore feelings, express emotion, and process current reality. Intervention techniques will be introduced to assist with the development of coping strategies that focus on holistic health. Opportunities to address dysfunctional behavior and unhealthy relationships will open doors to healing.
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas A & M University. Throughout my teaching career, I pursued further academic growth and obtained my Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. After dedicating 30 years to education, I expanded my counseling expertise to better assist a broader range of individuals by establishing my private practice.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the Texas Counseling Association and the Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing International Association. I volunteer for the Bay Area Turning Point, which supports survivors of family and sexual violence.
