Education & Experience

I have over 30 years of experience treating adults, teens, children, and families. My current specialized focus of care is with assisting those with chronic pain, chronic health conditions, physical and emotional trauma, attachment and developmental trauma (trauma stemming from childhood and at times one's family of origin), posttraumatic stress conditions, and complex posttraumatic stress conditions where one has experienced trauma from multiple sources and/or at multiple times during one's life. I have lived and worked in a number of places over the years including Illinois, the US Virgin Islands, Florida, and Hawaii for over a decade, before serving the people of Austin, Texas for the past 18 years. I have recently returned to Hawaii but continue to treat my clients in Texas. I am also licensed and treat clients in Hawaii, Connecticut, and Tennessee.
