After the completion of basic training in EMDR it is common for clinicians to require further training in applying the model to complex cases. While working with adult clients, it is important to view them through a trauma and attachment-focused lens, and learn to assess for and manage dissociation. This live webinar will provide a review of the working mechanisms of EMDR in resolution of trauma. It will offer an overview of the attachment-focused lens of treatment. Additionally, it will address barriers to treatment caused by dissociation, dysregulation, and protective parts of the self.
