About Me
I am a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), LPAT (Licensed Professional Art Therapist) and LCADC (Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor) in KY, and an LPCC (Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate) in CO. I enjoy working with the LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent communities.
Education & Experience
I received my M.Ed in Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville after having a passion for combining art and helping others. I have experience with a variety of populations of all ages, including community mental health, substance abuse, trauma survivors, anxiety, depression, and grief. I have a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. I am currently working towards EMDR Certification, focusing on ways to combine art therapy with EMDR Therapy.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I currently work full-time as a therapist with clients participating in a PHP or IOP for substance use and/or mental health. I take a limited amount of private practice clients and do not take insurance at this time. I offer sliding scale.
