Approved for 1.5 EMDRIA Credits

This course will teach how to safely and effectively use EMDR to reduce the severity of suicidal ideations in clients. Participants will discuss considerations for each phase of EMDR when treating SI, including interventions for stabilization and desensitization readiness, integrating EMDR with other therapeutic modalities, target selection, and skills to reduced blocked processing. Participants will learn how to integrate EMDR into treatment planning with treating high levels of suicidality.
