About Me
I am a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist in Burlington, Ontario, offering trauma-informed, integrative psychotherapy to adults navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, difficult relationship patterns, life transitions, and experiences that continue to feel unresolved.
My work is grounded in EMDR therapy and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic and nervous-system-informed approaches. I have completed EMDR Basic Training and continue to pursue advanced EMDR training and certification, alongside ongoing training in IFS (IFS Institute) and Somatic Experiencing®.
I approach therapy collaboratively and with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s pace. Rather than focusing only on symptom reduction, I support clients in understanding the experiences and patterns underlying their distress, processing what may still feel emotionally or physically “stuck,” and developing a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Having lived and worked across Italy, the UK, Australia, and Canada, I am particularly interested in the ways culture, migration, identity, belonging, and family expectations can shape our experiences. My practice welcomes newcomers and first-generation Canadians, and I offer therapy in both English and Italian.
I also bring lived understanding of the complexities of managing chronic illness, which informs my work with clients navigating the emotional impact of health challenges, uncertainty, and ongoing stress.
Above all, I aim to create a space where clients feel respected, understood, and actively involved in their own healing process.
I offer both in-person therapy in Burlington and virtual therapy across Ontario.
