About Me
I am an EMDR therapist specializing in complex trauma and PTSD. I work with adults across the lifespan to address how trauma is showing up for them now, reduce or resolve symptoms, and better cope with life stressors or transitions. I use EMDR as a central therapeutic tool, incorporating somatic therapy to address how trauma is stored in the body and attachment-based techniques for healing relational wounds. I take an integrative approach that incorporates creative arts and parts work as appropriate to support clients in their healing process and strengthen the mind-body connection.
Education & Experience
I completed my Master of Social Work at Wayne State University, where I focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I was trained in EMDR at the Personal Transformational Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan (2020). I have advanced trainings in somatic therapy, attachment theory and methods, polyvagal theory and parts work. My clinical background includes working with children and families and roles in non-profit.
