About Me

I know firsthand how hard it can be to navigate life’s emotional challenges. Growing up in a divorced family, I learned early on about the complexities of relationships and the impact of loss. Later, I faced one of life’s hardest experiences—the suicide of a close family member. That grief, confusion, and heartache profoundly shaped me, but it also taught me the importance of having someone to truly listen and understand.
It’s through these deeply personal experiences that I found my calling as a therapist. My journey of healing inspired me to help others who are struggling—whether you're dealing with family issues, anxiety, or grief and loss. I’m here to walk with you through the tough times, providing a space where you can be completely open and feel truly understood.
With over 20 years of experience as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Arizona and California, I’ve worked with individuals from all walks of life—in schools, non-profits, hospitals, and even as a professor. But beyond my professional roles as a Clinical Director, Supervisor, and therapist, I am simply a human being who understands the weight of emotional pain. I know how isolating it can feel, and I want you to know you don’t have to go through it alone.
I’ve faced trauma, disenfranchised grief, chronic illness, and the ups and downs of raising a high-needs child. As a fellow traveler on this journey, I offer a uniquely empathic approach because I’ve lived it. You’ll find that with me, you have the permission to say the things you’ve kept inside, to be fully seen and heard—without judgment. That’s how true healing happens.
I primarily work with high performers, business owners, therapists, medical professionals, teachers, and parents. If you’ve been pushing yourself to just “be okay,” I’m here to help you reach beyond that. You deserve to be more than okay—you deserve to thrive, to be heard, and to feel truly understood. And there’s no better time to start than now.
My goal is simple: to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can heal, grow, and rediscover your resilience.
