About Me
I love helping clients break down the barriers that are holding them back from finding happiness—often by setting boundaries with family, improving self-esteem, and recognizing their self-worth. I also offer EMDR therapy to support clients in processing past experiences that continue to impact their present, helping them move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Education & Experience
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Fitchburg State University and a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Boston College School of Social Work. Over the years, I’ve also completed specialized training and certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), ADHD-focused treatment, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through the EMDR Institute. I have experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient units, partial hospitalization programs, emergency mental health services, community-based care, and with individuals across the lifespan—children, adolescents, and adults.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am affiliated with the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) and have also served as a hospice volunteer with Beacon Hospice, offering compassionate support to individuals and families during end-of-life care.
