TRAINING OVERVIEW

This EMDR Basic Training is designed for licensed mental health professionals who work in a clinical setting. The training meets EMDRIA requirements and includes lecture, demonstrations and supervised practice. The consultation hours are included in the registration fee.

Beyond Healing emphasizes a relational approach to EMDR. This training not only equips clinicians with the standard 8-phase EMDR protocol, but also integrates principles of attachment theory, somatic psychology, and neurobiology. The trainers highlight the importance of attunement, co-regulation, and therapeutic presence as central to facilitating trauma reprocessing. Participants will learn how to establish relational safety, engage clients in adaptive information processing, and apply EMDR in a way that honors the whole person within their developmental and relational context.
