As the CEO and founder of Sound Mind Counseling Center, LLC, I am a licensed psychotherapist and LCSW with extensive experience supporting individuals on their healing journeys. I specialize in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, helping clients process trauma, reduce distress, and build resilience. My approach is rooted in compassion, research-based methods, and a commitment to each client’s unique needs. With a background as a research assistant and ongoing doctoral studies, I stay at the forefront of advancements in the field to ensure the highest quality of care. At Sound Mind Counseling Center, I am dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive environment where meaningful growth and healing can occur.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), which equips me with advanced clinical skills to support individuals, couples, and families. My professional journey includes valuable research experience as a research assistant, where I contributed to evidence-based projects that inform my therapeutic approach. In addition to my clinical work, I am actively engaged in doctoral studies, further deepening my expertise and staying up to date with the latest developments in psychotherapy. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse clinical settings, providing a broad perspective on mental health care.
