About Me

I work with adults who are ready to get to the root of the issue and are willing to learn, reflect and process. I feel that symptoms such as anxiety, depression, nightmares, and relational issues aren't the same as the problem. I can help you get to the core of the problem and unpack this with you and formulate a treatment plan that will work to get to the heart of the issue, which will in turn heal into more adaptive responses. This helps with symptoms and problems like PTSD as well. I provide online therapy in Virginia and Florida. I am trained in many different therapies, though I specialize in EMDR. While EMDR can be a quick therapy, I have a belief that healing and learning, while processing the past takes some time, and on- going engagement is going to be the most important factor. I promise to show up for you and be consistent. Our first appointment will consist of us getting to know each other, and your experiences, what has been helpful and not so helpful for you. Our future appointments will be getting an agreed upon starting point, skill building, then jumping into the processing piece of therapy.
