About Me
Emily is a US National Certified and HKPCA Certified Counsellor passionate about healing and supporting vulnerable communities. Her journey began with NGO work in D.C. fighting human trafficking. She trained in trauma therapies like IFS, EMDR, and narrative exposure to help clients with complex trauma. After earning her master’s in Texas and private practice experience, she moved to Hong Kong, where she co-directed a counseling center for five years. Now, she’s a trauma therapist at the Hong Kong Dignity Institute, working with refugees, trafficking survivors, and others facing trauma.
