Preferred Name: Brittany
About Me
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor serving clients in Florida and Washington, specializing in trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a military veteran, I bring a deep understanding of resilience, transition, and the lasting impact of life experiences into the therapy space.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly understood. I am trained in EMDR and integrate CBT and DBT-informed techniques to help you process past experiences, build effective coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or impacted by past experiences, you don’t have to navigate it alone—healing is possible, and I’m here to support you along the way.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American Military University, where I graduated with honors. My clinical training is grounded in evidence-based approaches, with additional specialization as an EMDR-trained therapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both Florida and Washington, with experience working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression across private practice and community-based settings. I also serve as a Qualified Supervisor, supporting the growth and development of interns and associate-level clinicians.
During my time in the United States Air Force, I had the opportunity to serve in an additional duty role as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Victim Advocate. In this capacity, I provided crisis support and advocacy to individuals impacted by trauma—an experience that continues to shape my compassionate, trauma-informed approach to care.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the EMDR International Association and the American Counseling Association. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
I value ongoing professional development and actively seek opportunities for consultation, collaboration, and continued learning to best support the clients I serve.
