About Me
Hello! I am an LCSW and EMDR trained therapist, specializing in complex trauma, substance use/dual diagnoses, anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, and life changes. My background is rooted in trauma-informed care, with over 8 years of experience supporting clients through life’s most challenging moments. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles that no longer serve them, or unsure how to navigate painful memories and emotional triggers. Together, we’ll identify the patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that have kept you from feeling whole, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. With EMDR, my goal is to help you move forward from past traumas that have kept you "stuck" in unhealthy behaviors and beliefs and be able to live a more freeing and peaceful future.
Education & Experience
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Oregon L11588 Master of Social Work, University of Denver 2017 Prior to moving into private practice, I spent the past 8 years working in crisis settings. This included hospital emergency departments, community mobile crisis teams, and as a co-responder with Seattle Police Department. In these settings, I worked with clients in the midst of mental health crises and helped to bring clients to a place of safety and security, both physically and emotionally. Since moving into private practice, I have been able to utilize this experience to help individual's process the traumas from past crises and experiences and help identify and decrease triggers and stressors in everyday life.
