About Me
Caity a white, queer, genderqueer, afab, neuroqueer, fat-affirming, BIPOC affirming, polyamory/ENM-informed clinician who is supportive of sex-workers, celebrates neurodiversity, and is affirming of Asexual/Aromantic identities.
Education & Experience
Caity holds a master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Portland State University and has been practicing therapy since 2018. Caity has advanced training in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy which they provide for mixed neurotype and ENM relationships. Caity provides neurodivergence-sensitive Exposure and Response Prevention therapy for OCD and anxiety, and works with negative self-talk and chronic/generational trauma impact through attachment healing (Internal Family Systems, Emotionally-Focused Individual Therapy) and somatic therapies (Somatic Experiencing) and explores the emotional/mental impact of external narratives of oppression (Narrative Therapy, Relational Cultural Therapy) to help clients live a fulfilling, joyful life. Caity is basic-trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma treatment.
