About Me
Katherine is a Registered Social Worker and Registered Psychotherapist with more than 15 years of experience in hospital mental health care, emergency crisis services, and private practice. She supports adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, perinatal mental health concerns, and complex life experiences.
Drawn to EMDR through her own experience of witnessing the meaningful shifts that can happen when painful experiences are processed safely, Katherine uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help clients reduce distress, build resilience, and move toward lasting healing.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s needs and goals. Alongside EMDR, Katherine integrates evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD.
Katherine offers EMDR virtually to residents of Ontario.
